Early Life:
Joseph Oguchaialu Jacobs also known as Saro Wiwa originates from Imo State, Nigeria. He was born the fourth child out of six children, in a small town called Egbu, located in Owerri North of Imo State. His parents Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Jacobs Ukwu of Umuakpadike Umuayalu, Egbu Owerri, were local workers of the town.

Education:
Joseph started his elementary school education in Port Harcourt. After high school, he went to Abia State University, where he studied Urban and Regional Planning. Though he had attained a college degree, Joseph still had a passion for music. This passion started at the tender age of twelve.

Music Career:
Young Joseph released his first album, Bong Jere Uzo Ije, in 2005 which was his ticket to limelight. Four years later, he released another album, Bongo Ekoo. In 2010, Saro Wiwa released his third album. This album sold many copies and hit the roof in its ratings. Apart from releasing astounding albums, Saro Wiwa has featured renounced Nigerian Afro-Hip-hop artists such as Naeto C. and Kelly Handsome.

With all his fame and stardom, Saro Wiwa is still single. He continues to search for the right one, the one he can call his better-half.

Saro Wiwa has many traveling experiences. He has journeyed to many countries such as Doublin, London, and Malayshia.

On top of his excelling career, Saro Wiwa has won numerous awards. Last year, he won the Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Award in Malayshia and Doublin.
