The “Art Of Worship” Seminar With Kierra “Kiki” Sheard (For Music Ministers, Choirs & More) – #ALABANZA2015 || @kierrasheard @tehilacrew
As part of the events for the upcoming highly anticipated Alabanza Concert, Tehila Records presents THE MINISTER’S CALL SERIES. It is the arm of Tehila records that deals with training, equipping and grooming effective and efficient Gospel music minsters in all aspects of their call.
This year, on the morning of the concert, this aspect of Tehila Records will be launched with the first seminar tagged “THE ART OF WORSHIP“ – a forum where singers, worship leaders (both aspiring and currently serving) pastors, leaders, music directors and everyone that is a stakeholder in the gospel music scene will be educated, trained and equipped with new insights and better skills for their ministry, calling and craft.
Leading the facilitators will be American Grammy Nominated singer, Kierra Sheard (USA), Sammie Okposo (Nigeria), Nathaniel Bassey (Nigeria), Uche Agu (USA) and Pastor Ayo Oluokun (RCCG City of David).
Participants will have the opportunity to garner knowledge from the wealth of experience of the facilitators.
The topics to be covered include:
- Discipline as a minister/worship leader – Nathaniel Bassey
- The place of prayer and consecration in ministry – Pastor Ayo Oluokun
- Vocal techniques/Knowledge of Music – Uche Agu
- How to write/record/promote songs – Sammie Okposo
- How to minister effectively (The Art) – Kierra Sheard
The seminar will hold on the 11th of September, 2015, the same day as the Alabanza Concert. (Concert holds later that day at 8pm)
TIME: 8am – 12noon and Confirmation of registered participants starts at 8am.
VENUE: CITY OF DAVID (REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD)
